The dust produced from the running timing belt could cause wear to the sealing lip of the oil seal, hence reducing the deal life and increasing the risk of leakage. Oil leaking from the shaft can damage the timing belt and reduce the lifetime. Therefore CORTECO has created the Timing Belt Kits which include the camshaft, crankshaft seal and auxiliary shaft seals, thereby the handling is much easier for garages to have the correct Simmerrings available.
