With effect from 1^st March 2010, Thomas Schäfer of CORTECO GmbH in Hirschberg, who currently shares the position of Managing Director with Reiner Martsfeld, will assume responsibility as Senior Manager Automotive Aftermarket China in Shanghai. In the coming years Mr Schäfer will develop and expand the aftermarket business for CORTECO in China with the support of the local team.

As of 1. March 2010 Mr Schäfer’s successor at CORTECO GmbH will be Mr Thomas Mettke. Mr Mettke will be responsible for the business as a whole and for Sales and Marketing of CORTECO GmbH.

He has contributed significantly to the great success of CORTECO in Europe. We wish him and his family all the best for the future. We are happy to welcome Thomas Mettke at CORTECO. With his experience of many years in sales and his professional approach he will be responsible for the further development of CORTECO in Europe and be the driving force behind future business strategies.”

Likewise as of 1st March 2010, Mr Claus Mahler will be responsible for Supply-Chain-Management within CORTECO GmbH. He will support Thomas Mettke in CORTECO’s highly market and customer oriented approach.
